The Comfy Cow welcomes Christmas in July offerings and Foodie Flavor Mondays

It’s time to coat that layer of barbecue ribs in your stomach with some ice cream.

There’s a lot going on at The Comfy Cow ice cream shop, according to the business’ friendly email reminders.

First, The Comfy Cow is celebrating this month with two Christmas in July flavors, Ginger Two Snaps and Peppermint Stick.

And the shop has introduced a weekly Foodie Flavor, a one-batch culinary creation that will appear on Mondays. Yesterday, The Comfy Cow churned out goat cheese ice cream with a swirl of strawberry balsamic basil reductions. I could definitely get into the idea of having some fun, new ice cream flavors.

I’ve already been pleased as punch with The Comfy Cow’s Slugger Field offerings. Looks like I’ll have to make my way out to Westport Village this month to get in on some special creations.

I just had the butter pecan bacon brittle ice cream by The Comfy Cow at The Blind Pig. Man oh man was it good. I’m going to have to try some of these other flavors!
